Sa-wa-dee-ka~
Want to get toned legs in 3 days? No problemo! Just join the 3 days 2 nights Bangkok “SHOP TILL YOUR METATARSALS HURT TOUR” No taxis, no Tuk-tuk just you and your feet!
………………………………………………………………………………………….
Things you have to do in Bangkok
- Bargain – you may be embarrassed but the happiness you feel after the shopkeeper reduce the price of your shirt by 10 baht is priceless.
- Take the Tuk-tuk – A cheap trill ride (ensure you bargain first) Amazing driving skills by the drivers, don’t follow conventional road laws (they just drive wherever they can get the vehicle on) and you feel like you are in a James bond movie!
- Spend a day (or days like us) at Platinum – Voted best Thai shopping experience by Andrea Tan. Tip for you: The building is huge, plan your walking and I warn you there are “2 buildings” don’t think there is only one side make sure you walk from end to end!
- Visit Chatuchak – Yes, its really warm there but this shopping maze is pretty cool to get lost in!
- Eat green noodles – Its my fave, so of course you got to eat it! Best with suki!
- Cross a zebra crossing – Even more thrilling than the Tuk Tuk! The cars WILL NOT stop for you if you are standing at the zebra crossing, so when the road is empty RUNNNNN!!!!!!
- Eat bamboo shoots – Now I know why panda have dark eye rings!
- Take a picture with the King – He is everywhere~ I’m not sure if it is illegal to stand beside him with a “V” sign. You better check it out first! Long Live the King La La La…..
- Visit Big C – It’s a great supermarket!!~ Get Kirin Low Sweet Green Tea and Porkfloss crackers!(Yum!!)
- Drink Lime Juice – Thirst quencher!

Walking is big time exercise there, before going I advise you to enter yourself for the Standard Chartered Run, hmmmm…maybe the Big Walk will suffice! But its not humid that’s a plus!!! It was great fun on the last day, where we looked at what we (Ok only 4 of us!) bought!! It was a tough fight between Amelia and Qiuli~ Air shots are tough – we NG too many times and it is tiring!!
Daddy thanks for the trip!Mummy thanks for your post holiday work load and everyday morning call! Kop koon ka~!

Now I’m praying for a miracle~! ^-^
